Trail Rides

Hidden Hills offers hour long guided trail rides on a pastoral bridle path surrounding our 200 acre farm.  Rides are perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy just “being”, or for special occasions (vacation activity, birthdays, dates, and even proposals!). Please note that our rides are a walking pace only for all riders, regardless of experience.

BASIC INFO

  • WHEN: Rides are offered year round Sunday-Friday, by appointment only.

  • COST: Cost is $55/person

  • LIMITATIONS:

    • We generally offer trail rides for groups of 4 or less. Call the farm if you have a larger group.

    • Trail riders must be must be at least 10 years old and weigh under 230 lbs. Sorry, we do not allow double riding.

  • CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY: There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Rides that cancel or change their reservation within 24 hours of the scheduled ride may be charged the full amount of the ride (except in the case of inclement weather--see below).

  • INCLEMENT WEATHER: In case of uncertain weather, Hidden Hills generally keeps scheduled appointments unless there is lightning or a non-stop rain. It is the client’s responsibility to call about options or cancel within 4 hours of the ride. If it is below 40 degrees, riding is generally quite uncomfortable and Hidden Hills recommends rescheduling for another time, but again, it is the client's responsibility to reschedule.

HOW TO SCHEDULE

Click the link above to schedule your ride via credit card. If you wish to pay via cash or Venmo, we must receive payment before scheduling your ride and then you can call our office to schedule. 

PLEASE COME PREPARED!

  • Wear closed-toed shoes and long pants.

  • All riders are required to wear an ASTM certified riding helmet that we provide. (You may bring your own horseback riding helmet; no bike helmets, please).
